As of January 1, 2012, Walgreens will not be in UCare’s pharmacy network. If you currently have your prescriptions filled at Walgreens, you will need to move your prescriptions to another UCare network pharmacy in your neighborhood that will be pleased to serve you. You can transfer your prescriptions by taking any one of these easy steps:

• Bring your prescription bottle to your new pharmacy; they will contact your Walgreens pharmacy to transfer the prescription to them.
• Call your new pharmacy and ask them to contact your Walgreens pharmacy to transfer the prescription to them.
• Ask your doctor to call your new pharmacy with a new prescription.

You likely have an alternative pharmacy within a short distance of where you live, or as close as your local grocery store. You can search for local participating pharmacies in Find a Pharmacy or by contacting UCare Customer Services. Our representatives are happy to help with any of your pharmacy questions.
