Minnesota Health Care Programs

UCare offers Minnesota Health Care Programs for individuals, families, and seniors. These are publicly funded basic health care programs. Please click on the program names in the boxes below to learn more.

Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP)
This is a program for low-income families, children, pregnant women, and people who have disabilities.
Prepaid General Assistance Medical Care (PGAMC)
This is a program for low-income adults between the ages of 24 and 61 who don’t have dependent children.

MinnesotaCare
This is a program for adults, families, and children who can’t get affordable health insurance.
Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC Plus)
This is a program for low-income seniors age 65 and older.
