UCare and Volunteers of America proudly present the 8th annual State’s Largest Senior Stretch & Stroll at the Minnesota State Fair!
Join a large crowd of Minnesota seniors and enjoy the Stretch & Stroll stage program in Carousel Park (in front of the grandstand) on Thursday morning, Sept. 2, which also is Seniors Day at the Fair.
The first 1,000 participants will receive free door prizes, including a
T-shirt, two cuff weights, an emergency ID bracelet, and a flashing safety light. All participants who walk around the Fair and return to the park that afternoon will be entered into a raffle prize drawing.
Here’s the Stretch & Stroll schedule:
- 9:30 a.m. – Registration lines open. Meet at Carousel Park and enjoy the lively sounds of the Barbary Coast Dixieland Band.
- 10-11 a.m. – Participate in the Stretch & Stroll stage program. Our guest host is Dick Bremer, a sports broadcaster for the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Gophers.
- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Stroll the State Fair grounds and return to Carousel Park between 12 p.m and 4 p.m. to turn in your raffle prize certificate.
