The name for Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) program in Minnesota is called the Child & Teen Checkups (C&TC) program. C&TC is a comprehensive child health program provided to Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) children and teens (ages newborn to 20). The purpose of the C&TC program is to reduce the impact of childhood health problems by identifying, diagnosing, and treating health problems early.
Reminder: Effective 6/1/11 date of service, you must append a two-character referral code to the C&TC procedure code (S0302) or your claim will be denied by UCare.
