UCare to implement sequestration deductions under its Medicare programs.
Rate Update for Mental Health ACT/IRTS/Crisis Residential Providers:
DHS updated rates for ACT services (H0040), IRTS services (H0019), and Adult Crisis Stabilization Residential services (H0018) on 4/8/13 that were retroactive to 1/1/13. UCare has adopted these rate changes for DHS certified providers and will adjust claims to reflect updated rates back to 1/1/13. Providers will begin to see adjusted claims within the next two to three weeks.
UCare for Seniors May screening calls
UCare is partnering with Warm Health Inc. for automated calls to our UCare for Senior members in the month of May. We are encouraging members to take charge of their health and obtain identified screenings such as; Diabetic eye exams, Breast cancer screenings, Colorectal cancer screenings, Diabetes care cholesterol screening, and Cardiovascular care cholesterol screening. Thank you for your support our members in receiving these important exams and screenings!
