NEW: Mandatory Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Compliance Requirement - Training Related to Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Awareness
This annual training requirement applies to all organizations that provide health care services or administrative services for Medicare-eligible individuals under the Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D programs. Training is required to be completed by 12/31/09. Please note that the Attestation Form is only valid through Dec. 31 of the calendar year. You must complete this training now and yearly thereafter.
Please download the following Power Point training module on Fraud, Waste, and Abuse. When the training has been completed, sign the Attestation Form and mail it or fax it in to UCare within 30 days of your organization completing the training, but no later than January 15, 2010. An officer or director from your organization will need to attest your organization's completion of the training by completing and returning the attestation form.
