Be one of more than 1,000 fairgoers participating in the 11th Annual State’s Largest Senior Stretch & Stroll at the Minnesota State Fair!

Guest host media personality and writer Kevyn Burger will welcome fairgoers to this popular event.

UCare, Volunteers of America, and the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota chapter organize the program, which is always designed to promote fitness and good health among seniors.

The first 1,000 participants will receive free door prizes, including a T-shirt, drawstring bag, cooling wrap, Good Age magazine, State Fair walking tour map, and exercise tip sheets and resistance band. Live rock ‘n roll music from The Whitesidewalls will keep fairgoers stretching and strolling their way in and out of Carousel Park.

Entertainment programming will continue on the Carousel Park stage throughout the afternoon, courtesy of UCare.

Comedian and radio personality Shed G will emcee a diverse program of music and dance:

11:30 a.m. – Jovonta Patton & Deliverance For Youth (D.F.Y.)

12 p.m. – Hmong Peace Dancers

1 p.m. – Ain Dah Yung – Youth Drum/Dancers

2 p.m. – Greater Mount Vernon Inspirational Choir

3 p.m. – Gotta Dance – Line Dancers/Steppers

4 p.m. – Aztec Dance Group
