Updates

Dental services inextricably linked: As a reminder, beginning July 1, 2025, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires dental services inextricably linked to covered medical services to be identified with the KX modifier on claims. Additionally, an ICD-10 code must be submitted on the 837D dental claim form. Providers should reference the DentaQuest ORM- Office Reference Manual for updates to this and other claims guidance.
