MSC+ is a health care program that pays for medical services for low-income people in Minnesota who are age 65 or older. MSC+ helps people get the care they need to be healthy. This includes coverage for physician services, hospital stays, rehabilitation services, preventive care, and prescription drugs.*
If you join MSC+, you also may be eligible for Elderly Waiver services, home and community-based services, and case management. To qualify for MSC+, you must meet income and other eligibility requirements.
*Members who have Medicare must enroll in a Medicare Prescription Drug (Part D) Plan to get most of their prescription drug services.
You can apply online through MNsure, download a Minnesota Health Care Programs application, or contact your county Human Services office for assistance.
