MSC+ is a health care program that pays for medical services for low-income people in Minnesota who are age 65 or older. MSC+ helps people get the care they need to be healthy. This includes coverage for physician services, hospital stays, rehabilitation services, preventive care, and prescription drugs.*

If you join MSC+, you also may be eligible for Elderly Waiver services, home and community-based services, and case management. To qualify for MSC+, you must meet income and other eligibility requirements.

Choose UCare as your health plan for MSC+ and take advantage of these programs and services:

  • UCare's Health Ride service, which offers qualified members transportation to and from services covered by UCare
  • Disease management programs for members with chronic conditions
  • Dental Care for U benefits that include:

  • A large network of health care providers
  • A free quit smoking program
  • Access to our other great health and wellness programs and tools

*Members who have Medicare must enroll in a Medicare Prescription Drug (Part D) Plan to get most of their prescription drug services.
