MSC Plus is a health care program that pays for medical services for low-income people in Minnesota who are age 65 or older. MSC Plus helps people get the care they need to be healthy. This includes coverage for physician services, hospital stays, rehabilitation services, preventive care, and prescription drugs.*
If you join MSC Plus, you also may be eligible for Elderly Waiver services, home and community-based services, and case management. To qualify for MSC Plus, you must meet income and other eligibility requirements. (For more information, look below under "How to Enroll.")
UCare partners with the Minnesota Department of Human Services to offer MSC Plus in 57 counties in Minnesota.
*Members who have Medicare must enroll in a Medicare Prescription Drug (Part D) Plan to get most of their prescription drug services.
