If you've had a qualifying life event, you can apply to enroll in a health plan outside of the Open Enrollment Period. You must apply for coverage within 60 days of the life event. Some examples of qualifying events include having a baby, getting married, losing employer-sponsored health coverage or moving.

Steps to enroll

1. Visit our Individual & Family Plan comparison page to find the right plan for you.
You'll be able to see a summary of our plans.

You can also work with a local broker to compare plans available in your area. Find a UCare broker near you.

2. Enroll.
First you'll fill out income information to determine if you're eligible for a subsidy. Then, you can compare all available plans and enroll.

Our Individual & Family Plan simplifiers can talk you through your questions.
